AFTN Taiwan Audio Clip

Until 1979 Armed Forces Radio had a station in Taiwan called Armed Forces Taiwan Network (AFTN).

In earlier years AFTN was known as Armed Forces Radio, Taiwan, and was heard by listeners & DXers overseas.

After 1970 Armed Forces Taiwan Network, became ICRT.

Keith Perron in Taipei discovered some AFTN tapes from the 1965 to 1978 era. Here is a clip from one of them.

Until 1979 Armed Forces Radio had a station in Taiwan called Armed Forces Taiwan Network (AFTN).After 1970 Armed Forces Taiwan Network, became ICRT a poor excuse for a radio station if there ever was one. ICRT doesn't only suck they are just awful. And every year they just get worse and worse.AFTN was a far better station with far better programming. A few years ago I came across some AFNT tapes from 1965 to 1978. Here is a clip from one of them.
