  1. Thank you for answering the question about Rick Grant. Lloyd was my cousin and we grew up together in Sydney in the 1940’s. He “took of” after getting back from National service and we didn’t know where he was, nor did we hear from him. I had heard a suggestion that he had been lost at sea from a pirate radio ship. Visiting the exhibition by coincidence whilst in Auckland in January exposed me to the possibility that this may have been the ship. So it was…

    Are there photographs of Lloyd?

  2. Hi Mike. I guess we are related. I am Lloyd’s eldest daughter. I didn’t relly know my dad as my parents separated when I was only 3yrs old and after that he moved to NZ and we had no contact.I would have liked to have known him though…he sounded like a real character. I wish I’d known about the 40th anniversary celebrations and exhibition last year ..my sister and I would have loved to visit.

  3. Hi guys, I'm not here to hurt or harm anyone about what they may or may not know, but I'm Ricks/Lloyds son presumably his eldest and only as I was born in 1960 after his stint at 2MW like everyone just interested in more details of a life lost
