The ‘top hat’ of the JORK transmitting tower, and the modern style building are typical of early Japanese radio.
Programs began daily at 6am with ‘Physical exercises’, included cookery and market reports, and at 9.30 every night, the relayed time signal and weather forecast from Z1LY in Manchuria.
JORK broadcast on 720kc with 500 watts.
