DJ Nev Chamberlain ‘Cham The Man’ in the book Voices in the Air recalls: ‘I well remember starting in this DJ business at station 2ZC Napier about 1959 and I have a feeling that I can claim to have put on the first ‘Top 40 Show’ in New Zealand.’

‘Cham The Man’ died in Wellington, New Zealand, on February 6 2007. Aged 74.
