Researching the life of Maya Rodevitch
Earlier this year James Duffy emailed us:
Greetings:
As is mentioned on your webpage, very little is known about the radio stations operating out of the CBI theater during WWII. I am researching the life of Maya Rodevitch, a Polish national living in Chungking during the war. It appears she worked for the Nationalist government and hosted broadcasts in French from the local radio station. I gather she had an early morning shift and I’m guessing her job was to provide news and propaganda to Indochina.
I am looking for any information on the broadcasts and especially any information on Maya.
Any and all assistance and direction to other sources is greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
James Duffy, Ed.D.
