A new venture recently started by Station 2MG is the Children’s Session, which is proving a great success in the district. This is broadcast every afternoon from Monday to Friday, 4.30 to 5.30, and features the children of Mudgee in singing and recitations.
HARRY HAMBRIDGE, manager and chief announcer of 2MG before going to Mudgee was one of 2GB’s staff announcers. He has had an extensive career in radio during the past 15 years, and is already very popular in Mudgee and surrounding districts, mainly because of his likeable personality and pleasing voice.

BILL ATKINSON has been in radio for many years and was formerly with Station 2CA in the Federal Capital Territory.
CLIFF LINKE has a very likeable voice. Before joining the staff of station 2MG he was with 5AD Adelaide.
Already very well liked and highly successful in radio is 2MG’s youngest announcer FRANK YATES. Frank is just 19 years old and has been broadcasting for a year. He conducts the breakfast session from 7 to 9 a.m. and his cheery manner and bright personality has brought quite a large mail to station 2MG in appreciation. Frank Yates also conducts the Hospital Session every Sunday morning.
