The Old Timers

Raymond Conder writes to us from Perth, Western Australia:

I started out in radio announcing in 1962 I think it was 6VA Albany and then 3CV Maryborough 2DU Dubbo 3XY Melbourne 3TR Sale 3UZ Melbourne 6PM Perth etc and would like to catch up with fellow workers if still around. Because I am 84 I cannot remember all the names like for example there was John somebody at 3TR etc etc and it would be amazing to hear from any of them. Anybody remember 3TR announcers 1964 1965? I was one of them and worked with a host of others wondering whether they are still alive: John Cook, Jim Woods, Barry Sneddon, Ray Benson, Peter Philp, Nain Mawman, David Adams, Leigh Davis, John Aspinall and others whose names I cannot recall.
