Wagga Wagga Food Parcels?

Hi,

Bit of a long shot here, have recently been chatting to my Mum about her memories from the war.

She was telling me about food parcels being sent to her family in England organised through a radio station from Wagga Wagga, Australia.

I would like to find out more if possible as have never heard this before. Any ideas?
